The Aikawa lab, the labolartory of Molecular Biology of Reproduction and Development in TARA Center, University of Tsukuba, is investigating implantation, an early event in pregnancy, focusing on how the embryo and uterus interact to create an environment for development.
Using mice as a primary model and comparing across mammals, we aim to uncover the fundamental principles that support implantation.
