Summer 2024 REU: Applied Algebra and Geometry

This is an intensive 8 weeks summer research experience on problems related to applications of algebra and geometry. An emphasis will be on applications to algebraic statistics. Selected students will work together with experienced mentors. Preference will be given to students with a background in algebra, combinatorics or geometry, introductory knowledge in statistics, and comfortable with computations. The program aims to prepare students for the rigors of graduate level research.
