Bio

Professor Sang Wook Yi holds a tenured position in philosophy with a joint appointment in artificial intelligence at Hanyang University. Since 2018, he has served on UNESCO's COMEST(World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology). He also presided over the Korean Society for Philosophy of Science from 2021 to 2023. Professor Yi's research spans the philosophy of science, philosophy of technology, and Science, Technology, and Society (STS). 

이상욱 교수는 한양대학교 철학과에 재직 중이며, 인공지능 학부에도 겸임으로 참여하고 있다. 2018년부터 유네스코 세계과학기술윤리위원회(COMEST) 위원으로 활동하고 있으며, 2021년부터 2023년까지는 한국과학철학회 회장을 역임했다. 그의 주요 연구 분야는 과학철학, 기술철학, 과학기술사회(STS)이다.
