Bio

Kasia Jakimowicz is a  technology leader in AI governance and digital risk, with 15+ years of experience shaping tech and innovation policy at the UN, World Bank, and European Commission. As a senior adviser to the UK Delegation to the UN, she negotiated UN Global Digital Compact, helping shape global approaches to AI and digital rights frameworks. Kasia advises institutions on translating global standards into actionable AI governance and risk strategies, especially in areas like gender-responsive innovation, algorithmic transparency, regulatory readiness in finance.

An alumni of Harvard Kennedy School, and a graduate of programs at MIT Executive Education, Oxford University and most recently AI/ML Programming Bootcamp at Caltech, Kasia is particularly focused on bridging the gap between AI ethics frameworks and real-world implementation — with a special emphasis on inclusive innovation and responsible tech deployment. algorithmic transparency and regulatory readiness .

Her talk will offer an insider’s perspective on the practical tensions, trade-offs, and pathways to embedding gender-responsive ethics in AI systems.

하버드 케네디 스쿨을 졸업했으며, 석사 과정을 매사추세츠 공과대학교에서 경영자 과정과 옥스퍼드 대학교 프로그램을 수료했고, 최근에는 캘리포니아 공과대학교AI/ML 프로그래밍 부트캠프를 완료했다. 카시아는 AI 윤리 프레임워크와 현실적 구현 사이의 간극을 메우는 일에 특히 주력하고 있으며, 포용적 혁신과 책임감 있는 기술 도입을 중시한다. 

이번 발표에서는 AI 시스템에 성별 대응 윤리를 내재화하는 과정에서 발생하는 실질적 갈등과 절충안, 그리고 실행 가능한 경로에 대한 실무자적 통찰을 제공할 예정이다.
