Dr. Kalai Ramea is the Co-founder and CTO of Planette, where she leads the technical development of medium-range climate forecasting products. She is an accomplished interdisciplinary scientist working in the intersection of AI and sciences. Her doctoral studies focused on developing mathematical models for analyzing climate policies specifically for the state of California. During her PhD, she was also chosen to participate in a competitive Research Fellowship program at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in Austria, a renowned climate think tank contributing to annual climate action IPCC reports. Prior to founding Planette, Dr. Ramea was at Xerox PARC, where she led a technical area focusing on the development of cutting-edge AI projects aimed at climate action and energy systems. 

칼라이 라메아 박사는 플래닛(Planette)의 공동창립자 겸 최고기술책임자로서 중기 기후 예측 제품의 기술 개발을 총괄하고 있다. AI와 과학의 교차점에서 활동하는 융합 과학자인 칼라이는 박사과정에서 캘리포니아 주 기후 정책 분석을 위한 수학적 모델 개발을 중점적으로 연구했다. 박사과정 재학 중에는 매년 IPCC 기후행동 보고서에 기여하는 저명한 기후 싱크탱크인 오스트리아 국제응용시스템분석연구소(IIASA)의 경쟁적 연구 펠로우십 프로그램에 선발되어 참여했다.  플래닛 창립 이전에는 제록스 PARC에서 기후행동과 에너지 시스템을 위한 최첨단 AI 프로젝트 개발에 중점을 둔 기술 분야를 이끌었다. AI 기술을 통한 기후 문제 해결이라는 사명감을 바탕으로 과학과 기술의 융합을 통한 혁신적 솔루션 개발에 전념하고 있다.
