Ahsha has been training and performing for 7 years, most recently with Ajna Dance Company, and was selected to perform at a gala event. Her teachers for years have placed her front and center in the group given that she is a strong performer, is able to lead and collaborates well with her fellow dancers. During the pandemic, she is kept up her practice by doing lessons over Zoom. Click below to see some of her performances.

Ahsha has been training in vocals for 2.5 years, plays & performs in a band and took acoustic guitar lessons for almost 2 years. Jon Neufeld has been her vocal coach and guitar teacher. Her band rehearses and performs via Rock Bands for Kids. Click below to see some of her performances.

Songwriting
Ahsha's band worked with their coach to write original songs. The Hopeful Song (link here), written by them in 2020 while meeting remotely, reflects what many of us are feeling during the pandemic crisis.
Ahsha learned about songwriting technique, working remotely with her teacher Sarah Murphy. She wrote a funny song about our cats, Bubu and Numnum (link here). We often find ourselves singing this song at home!

Ahsha has gone to several arts-focused summer camps, including at Children’s Museum of the Arts, Painted Pot, Creatively Wild, Brooklyn Arts Exchange and Poly Prep. She often comes home with fun and wonderful creations like these:

Ahsha took a class with Atlantic Acting School camp over the summer, and will be continuing with acting lessons remotely with this school this year. She has been doing acting/theater focused afterschool classes at PS107, such as Musical Theater Glee. Last summer, she did TADA Theater camp.
