After this journey, I do not see A.I. as a replacement for the architect, but as an extension of the studio. I define my position as an "Augmented Designer."
A.I. as the Brainstormer: I will use these tools to push past "creative blocks" and visualize "bizarre" concepts that I might be too afraid to sketch by hand.
Human as the Gatekeeper: I believe the architect’s role is shifting from "The Drafter" to "The Editor." My value lies in my ability to apply ethics, local history, and human empathy to the cold, optimized outputs of an A.I.
As a future architect, I am committed to using A.I. responsibly. This means:
Verification: Never accepting an A.I. technical specification without manual verification.
Originality: Ensuring that while A.I. assists the process, the core "soul" and "vibe" of the design come from human experience and site-specific needs.
The future of the built environment is a hybrid one. My bizarre journey through these "A.I. Endeavors" has taught me that while the machine can provide the "what," only the architect can explain the "why." I am ready to step into this new era, armed with both my traditional training and these synthetic superpowers.
