CBMS–AMML 2025 — Research at the Interface of Applied Mathematics and Machine Learning

Participated in the CBMS conference focused on recent developments at the interface of applied mathematics and machine learning. The program featured principal lecture series, contributed talks, and technical sessions covering optimization, inverse problems, regularization, and data-driven modeling in computational science.

The conference was supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) and organized by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Houston, bringing together researchers, graduate students, and early-career scientists from applied mathematics and machine learning communities.

Summer Schools

ChAMELEON 2025 — Summer School on Computational and Mathematical Methods in Machine Learning, Optimization, and Inference

Participant, August 11–15, 2025 — University of Houston

Participated in a one-week intensive summer school focused on the mathematical foundations and computational methodologies underlying modern machine learning, with emphasis on inverse problems, optimization, and data-driven modeling. The program combined theoretical lectures with hands-on computational training relevant to scientific and engineering applications.

The summer school was organized by Dr. Andreas Mang (University of Houston) and supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), bringing together students and researchers from applied mathematics, computational science, and machine learning communities.
