When I first started doing my portfolio my goal was not to slack off any of my writing and give all I got every assignment. That is what I did and I proud of my work seeing myself involve with my writing and being more confident about it. However, I did not expect doing a portfolio getting in this class. I was somewhat intimidated because I was confused at first. But as weeks went by, I got over some obstacle and adjusted to a different writing style. I enjoyed the writing assignment because it was a challenge that something that was new to me.
Writing words on a screen isn't always the way to get your ideas across or even to get to know someone such as an interview. For example "Heros And Villains" I interviewed one of my best friends I got a recording of her us speaking about multiple subjects. Then I put the recording on the page and for my audience to view this recording. That's one of my assignments i thought it was unique way of understanding someone. As I continue doing more assignments I came across " Place Of Mind" . I didn't realize how frequent i visited these places. I explained the pictures as best I can so the reader gets a understanding why I visit as much. As the time goes on I came across ''Why The Hate". I Expailed the befits of videos games. I wanted my point to come across if someone was to read it and show them the benefits of video games. Its always not negative as some people think it is. However, as i come close to the end of the semester. I came across "Empathy challenge". I worked as a group with my friends that I met begging of the year. Talked about Covid-19 and how it effected India in many ways. It was something that I enjoyed a lot doing and getting help by my group.
I was looking back at my writing in the begging and I remember how I was not as confident about my writing. I was bit intimidated about the portfolio at first but as time went on I got a better writer and felt more comfortable. I believe I got better all-around of my writing such as knowing how to start my paper and know what to talk about. Overall, I got over these challenges and learned how to make it easier on me. I can walk away as a better writer at the end of the day.
