NO! I don't spend all my precious time in academic environments!

Outside academia, I am a husband (of a PhD holder in Mathematics); a dad of a beautiful daughter and a cute son; and play Santoor and a gardener.

Given my background (born to illiterate parents with farming background), I still very much enjoy raising poultry and watering my 4,000 square meters garden in my hometown (Qaladze, which is just half an hour from the Iranian border).

From early spring to mid of autumn, I spend some of my free time in my garden where I assume a new role as poultry farmer keeping chickens, turkeys, geese and ducks. I also grow organic fruit that I usually share with neighbors, relatives and (sometimes) colleagues.

Once upon a time, I started taking Santoor classes and I was hoping to be able to play simple pieces on my own.
