Perspective Essay

Reflection:

The Perspective Essays was probably one of my favorite writings all semester. We reviewed and analyzed podcast audio of people's perspectives on certain topics and then were told to write and record our own opinion on a topic we chose. My Perspective essay was about how "normal" looked like for people after Covid-19. I really enjoyed that it was a short essay/ writing because it challenged me to stay on topic and get my point across in a very short time. When I write or talk I usually tend to go off topic and talk about random things but with this essay I had to make sure that I had a point, that my reader understood my point and that was engaging. One thing I found difficult was definitely the recording part. I am not used to hearing myself talk and I had to make sure that I didn't mess up on the words, so it was definitely difficult to sit there and try to perfect my audio.
