Reflection:
The Informational Literacy Essay was our last essay of the semester/ year. Before this essay I had no idea that there was a debate about William Shakespeare let alone that it had been going on for years. We spent our class time reading and analyzing articles that talked about the Controversial Debate of William Shakespeare. We were then tasked with writing about our stance in the debate as well as writing about the ways that digital literacy had impacted the debate. In my essay I talk about the authorship and credibility of William Shakespeare and the reason why his authorship and creditability are being questioned. The hardest part about this essay was trying to make sure that both sides of the argument were shown. The easiest thing about this essay was writing on where I stood in this argument/ debate. I fully believe that Shakespeare was in fact Shakespeare and this debate should be put to rest. So, overall I enjoyed learning about both sides of the debate but I think that some people should be careful on taking in information especially if you don't know methods to help you identify when you are being given misinformation.
