Through personal experience I've found myself in situations that developed my characters and morale as individual.
Being held accountable for my actions. As I've gotten older opportunities and experiences comes with the price of acknowledging the consequences of actions, most importantly knowing that I am responsible for everything that I do. If I choose to sleep in instead of going to class I have to hold myself accountable for missing out on valuable information.
Persevere through the hard and good times. When I joined sports in high school something that my coaches even my father instilled was to never give up on myself because no athlete woke one day and became the best at their sport. I've learned not to give up on myself when life gets hard, to take a break and come back because the problem will still be waiting for me. When someone learns to persevere they beat their own self criticism and gain strength within their-self. When I persevere it shows determination and that I am willing to put my best foot forward.
Being grateful for everyday I wake up and receive opportunities. Life is an experience and I would want to value my life by having the chance to say "I've lived through that" or "I've experienced this and I felt...". Life is amazing when you can share your experience or knowledge of something as you get to relive your memory and cherish it.
Give a helping hand to whomever is in need. From a very young age my parents have demonstrated and said to always to provide to homeless. I may not know everyone's experience but providing a shoulder to cry on, giving a dollar, or providing food or whatever is necessary at the moment can make a big difference in someone's life.
Always start the day with a Smile. I start everyday with a smile to display a positive attitude throughout the day because you never know who you will meet. Each day is a new day to reset and to not let any bad things linger into a new day. Also I love to smile because it helps others smile and have a good day.
To earn Respect give Respect. I always try to be considerate of anyone especially if I am working with them for a project I respect different ideas and interpretations of anything to understand a new perspective. I always give respect to anyone I meet because I feel strongly that no one deserves disrespect unless proven otherwise.
Be creative. Being creative can open a new world for me and help me express myself in ways that I never thought of before. So be creative and explore new things because it can be life changing.
Being trustworthy. To earn trust it has to be built with care and dependency as time will only tell about how much trust someone puts into you. Being someone that anyone can depend on someone to tell the truth even if it's hurt. Trust can be built in various ways with different meanings of being safe and secure in any type of relationship.
