THE NATIONAL GALLERY - LONDON - THE COLLECTION OF RENAISSANCE PAINTINGS

August 3, 5, 7 - 4 p.m.

The National Gallery, located in Trafalgar Square in the City of Westminster, Central London, was founded in 1824. It is arguably one of the finest collections of paintings in the world, housing more than 2,300 works of art dating from the mid-13th century to 1900.  Though this collection includes examples from all major traditions of Western European painting, it is particularly strong in works from the Renaissance. In this three-part series, we look more closely at some of the greatest works of art from this era.

Participants do not have to sign up for a zoom account. The link to the lecture is sent on the day of the event.
