Product Increment

A product increment is a potentially shipable vertical slice of a time chart of a solution that is created as part of a strict time-box (Sprint). It consists of the stages:

• Analysis

• Requirements

• Design

• Development

• Testing

• Release

Several Product Increments may be necessary to turn a product MVP, whereas later product increments usually take the form of patches or updates.
