From the 2027 graduating cohort, students will sit for the new Singapore–Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate (SEC), which recognises subjects taken at different levels and supports more flexible subject combinations. In tandem, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has updated post-secondary admission criteria across Junior Colleges/Millennia Institute (JC/MI), Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), and Arts Institutions to better accommodate diverse learner profiles while maintaining the academic foundations required for each pathway.
This Aggregate Calculator is a PROTOTYPE (currently in beta testing) developed based on publicly released and currently available information. As some details have yet to be made available, the calculations are derived from existing information and adapted from established practices to align as closely as possible with what is known at this point and are meant for planning guidance only. The purpose of this tool is to help students and parents better understand possible admission outcomes and support early planning for post-secondary pathways.
