About Us

Aggieland Mariachi, also known as Mariachi Anillos de Oro was founded in the Fall of 2002 by students of Texas A&M University.  Since then, we have had many members participate in the group that have contributed to the popularity of the student organization.

Our goal is to expand from the Texas A&M campus and spread our name to the surrounding area of College Station and Bryan, Texas. We hope that Aggieland Mariachi will be considered among the many traditions associated with Texas A&M University.

With the help from Alumni, we have been able to purchase uniforms and instruments in order to help spread and preserve the beautiful tradition of mariachi music at the collegiate level.
