Hotels

All participants (other than speakers) are kindly requested to book their own accommodation. Some suggestions are given below.

Please notice that, due to an international football event taking place in Porto during the conference week, there is an increased difficulty in finding accommodation. So we strongly advise the participants to take care of their accommodation as soon as possible.

Attention:

Please be aware of possible scamming attempts whereby participants may be contacted by a source claiming to represent the conference organization, and inviting them to give out personal and financial details in order to finalize hotel booking for their visit. Please completely ignore such contacts.

Speakers will have their accommodation dealt with by the organizers, while other participants should book their own accommodation. Confidential information will never be asked by the organization in any circumstances.

There are several hotels at walking distance to the conference venue (although some of them might be fully booked). Here we list their contacts and location.

• Seminário de Vilar -- Location here. This is a religious institution, providing affordable accommodation, but still including the basic facilities. The speakers will stay here. To book a room, follow this link (only in portuguese), choose the room and fill in the corresponding forms.
• Hotel HF Tuela Porto -- Location here.
• Hotel HF Tuela Porto, Ala Sul -- Location here (this is basically the same hotel as the previous one, but on a different wing of the building and slightly cheaper).

• Hotel HF Ipanema Porto -- Location here. Please pay attention not to confuse this with Hotel HF Ipanema Park, which is slightly further away from the venue.
