The Los Santos Police Department is responsible for safeguarding the city of Los Santos. The LSPD's duty is to protect and serve its residence by upholding and enforcing the law in the city of Los Santos. The Police Department strives to improve the lives of people residing in the city, we do this by following core values set by the department. The priority of LSPD is to maintain safe haven for all who reside in the city, the best way we utilize that is through community policing. Lastly, the Los Santos Police Department has all the necessary units, equipment, and staff to do the job required.Â

Port Authority
Port Authority is the uniformed patrol officer which manages the waterways of the state. These specialized officers patrol the state waterways, answer calls for service, and work with the community to solve problems affecting the quality of life. This unit specializes in the enforcement of boating laws and search and rescue.
K-9 Unit
K-9 is a uniformed deputy with a canine partner. These specialized unit patrols the county and answer call for service, work with the community to solve problems affecting the quality of life, and also aid in search and rescue.
