Elephant Eating
Root and shrubs
Elephants are true herbivores, as all they crave is plants from plants. An elephant eats branches and twigs when the weather is dry, to consume more hydration. While in the winter they prefer to eat more dry plants. Unlike other herbivores, elephants chew front and back motion and not side to side like the other animals. Elephants eat 12-14 hours per day and consume 150-600 pounds. They have unique ways to consume their meal, like chewing front and back and eating non-stop for 12-14 hours.
