2026 Conference Bucharest - 1-3 June
Only Full Papers should be submitted, which will be single blind reviewed (papers may be early drafts or works in progress, but we are not able to consider submissions that only provide an abstract).
Submissions to the Conference should be made electronically via the
Submission and Registration System
The author submitting the paper(s) becomes the corresponding author for the paper(s) and is responsible for its management during the submission and review process.
You will be asked to upload two files:
a blind version in pdf format which will be sent for review
a version with author details and a copy of the table from the manuscript cover sheet in word format
Only the corresponding author is authorized to modify the paper's title, keywords and abstract, to add co-authors, and to upload the two files containing the paper, for the paper(s) he or she submitted.
The corresponding author needs to add him/herself as an author to the paper they submit.
Conference Submissions should prepared according to the Accounting Forum Author Guidelines, which include instructions and templates and should be no more than 12,000 words in length.
Summary of Submission Instructions:
The first step for making a submission is to register your email address in the database. If your affiliation is not listed in the list, simply ask for it to be added. The app/portal admin will add it for you.
Once your affiliation is added to the list, you can start the submission process for the paper(s), by adding its title and abstract. At that stage and at any later stage, ignore the Fast track button (leave on ‘None’). (This is just an app-related button; no fast-track option is available for this conference).
At the next step, either ignore the ‘Inclusion’ in the conference proceedings button or simply mark ‘Exclude’ (This is just an app-related button; conference proceedings will not be created anyway).
The submission status can be checked at any time by looking at the Status field of each paper, which indicates the missing fields. The submission is considered to be complete when all the required fields are filled out. No confirmation message is sent by the system when the submission is complete, but the status of the paper turns green in your personal account.
Once a paper’s title and abstract are saved, the paper is saved in the system, and its submission process can be resumed at any time before the submission deadline. Its status is still red in your personal account, and it cannot be considered as a complete submission for the conference.
The submitting author should add their name to the author list. Then, the submitting author can add the paper’s co-authors by inputting their email and names; if the co-authors’ affiliation is not included in the list, you can send us an e-mail at amis@cig.ase.ro, and we'll add it. Then, the submitting author should add their co-authors by resuming the process in their personal account.
When making the submission for the conference via the app, ignore the fast-track options for JAMIS and Accounting in Europe. They correspond to the AMIS conference taking place back-to-back with this conference.
You will be asked to upload two files: a blind version in pdf format which will be sent for review; and a version with author details and a copy of the table from the manuscript cover sheet in word format.
If you also wish to also submit a paper to the AMIS conference, the AMIS submission system will open on March 15, 2026. The submission procedure is similar to that for the Accounting Forum conference. You can also use the same credentials. While the AMIS conference has its own formatting style, it only applies to papers that will be included in the conference proceedings. Assuming that you do not wish to include your paper in the AMIS conference proceedings, click Exclude in the system upon making the submission and you do not need to use the AMIS style. You must, however, submit the two versions of the paper (blind and non-blind).
Should you wish to receive an invoice for your conference fee(s), please email us at AccForum@adelaide.edu.au and amis@cig.ase.ro and we will indicate what information is required to issue an invoice.
