Material designs for Lithium Ion Batteries

Recently, as the demand for lithium-ion batteries increases rapidly along with electric vehicles, it is necessary to develop lithium-ion batteries with improved performance.

Lithium-ion batteries are currently most widely used, and will continue to be, due to their advantages such as high energy density and long life cycle.

However, the anode of the lithium-ion batteries are experiencing difficulties due to the theoretical capacity limitation and safety problem. So, our laboratory is working on a high capacity, stable anode electrode for lithium-ion batteries.
