My name is Aeisha Teaste. I was born and raised in Loris, South Carolina a small town about 25 miles south of North Myrtle Beach, SC. I graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. I received my Master's Degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in 2013. I received my Graduate certification in School Counseling from Winthrop University in 2016. I will receive my Doctoral Degree in Transformative Learning in the Global Community from Webster University in 2025. I begin work as an Educator in 2005, I worked as a Special Education assistant until I begin working as an Elementary School Counselor in 2018.
I am married with two daughters, ages 26 and 20. I enjoy spending time with my family, going on vacation and most of all going to church.
I am a Breast Cancer survior. On December 6th, 2024 I recieved the phone call that would forever change my life. I was diganosised with Stage 1 Invasive Ductal Breast Cancer at the age of 45. I recieved six cycles of Chemotherapy treatment., a lumpectomy and 20 rounds of Radition therapy. After all of that, I am Cancer free, ALL PRAISES TO GOD!! I am in treatment until September 2026.
I started a non-profit organization, Perfectly Pink. It is an organization that supports individuals and families experiencing breast cancer. I started this organization while on my own breast cancer journey. This organization provides financial support, social support through various organization and other resources that may be beneficial during their breast cancer journey.
