Amy Whitaker is an associate professor in NYU Steinhardt’s Department of Art and Art Professions and the author of four books including Art Thinking, which led to her collaboration with Sylvain, Emile, and Improbable. Amy's work has received the Penrose Award for creative economic models and the Krouse and Hutchins Prizes for humane work in political science.
