How Pythia Works

The Pythia system relies on an iOS or Android app, standard earphones or headphones, cloud services, and a conversational interface. To initiate an SOP, users verbally request a process to perform, then receive instructions usually within one second when using 5G devices on 5G networks. To use Pythia, type or copy/paste SOPs into the database and install the free Pythia Performance app onto an iOS or Android device. Workers can verbally request the workflow they need to perform using off-the-shelf Bluetooth earphones or headphones. Pythia will play and report the completion time for each step of the process. After finishing each process, workers can choose to give continuous improvement feedback. All performance data and feedback are saved and can be reported immediately.

Pythia's reports are designed to be accessible, confidential, and easy to interpret, allowing quick identification of areas for improvement at every level of the organization. Managers and individual team members rely on these reports to enhance their performance on a daily basis.

Pythia Wake Phrase and Commands

These are the only commands Pythia users need to know: 1) Wake phrase = "Hey Coach", 2) "Next" - Continue to the next step, 3) "Repeat" - Repeats the current step, 4) "Previous" - Repeats the prior step, 5) "Quit" - Quits the current process, and 6) "Feedback" - Enables workers to provide continuous improvement feedback.

Pythia users have access to two crucial reports: the Feedback Report and the Mean Performance Report. These reports are available to all users and are designed to maintain anonymity. By making the reports democratic and anonymous, workers can pinpoint areas where they need to improve their performance and seek help without revealing their performance quality to other users.

Pythia's Mean Performance Report (MPR) uses valid, unbiased, reliable performance data to pinpoint areas for ongoing enhancement at all levels of the organization, including individual performers and process step details. After each inquiry, this data is gathered and evaluated through artificial intelligence. The MPR,

The system automatically computes the mean performance range of the requested data sets. It then uses color coding to present each performance event spread across six standard deviations.
- Green items indicate the step was performed within the mean.
- Gold items indicate performance was just above and below the mean, which includes best practices and coachable performance.
- Red items indicate performance outliers.

The Mean Performance Report is used by business leaders, managers, and front-line workers to improve performance results. This can involve coaching workers on specific SOP steps, increasing staff or equipment, altering SOPs, identifying best practices, and evaluating the return on investment for any performance improvement project.
