Turkey (Istanbul)

The fourth LTT was held in November 2022. Students and teachers from partner countries got to know the vast cultural and historical treasure of Turkey and its capital, Istanbul. 

We again made evaluation of products and process since the last meeting and discussion of next steps.

Also, we did:

1- Ice-breaking activities.

2- Presentation of the country and its educational system

3-  Important female figures: Students presented a presentation of important female figures from their countries.

4- Desert Flower: They watched film about women abuse (eg. Desert Flower) and made a discussion.

5- Oxford Debate: The host country organized an Oxford Debate: students argued on issues related to women's place in society.

6- We made evaluation of meeting.

The methodology to be used for the activity will be interactive, creative and innovative such as presentations, workshops, experiments, observations, discussions, Oxford Debate, question and answer sessions, researches, surveys, interviews, shooting video clip, drawings etc.

In this mobility, students presented the PPS, videos, and documents about the cities, countries and activities related to women rights. Students attended regular classes together with friends. They integrated into the current activity of the host school. We got to know the host country and its educational system. Pupils spent their times together with host students. They observed the classes, joined the usual school programmes, they used English as communication language, they joined the games which were organized by host teachers, they had breakfast together, lunch in school canteens, and some dinner too. It was aimed to experience the way of life of the host students (peers).
