- An electronic time ticket is required during pre-registration. Students with time tickets may not register earlier than their scheduled time, whether online or in-person.
- Students register for classes using the Banner Information Systems (Banner XE). Follow instructions HERE to Browse/Register Classes.
- Watch the videos below on registering for classes using Banner XE and creating a plan on Degree Works.
- Pre-registration-The first 5 days of the registration period for any term. Only currently registered, degree-seeking students with time tickets may register during pre-registration.
- Open Registration-Begins the 6th day of the registration period. All admitted students may register for classes. No time ticket is required.
- Web Registration-Online registration is available Monday-Saturday 6am-11pm and Sunday 12 noon-11pm online via Leo Online.
- Old Dominion University participates in student exchange and consortium programs with local colleges and universities. These programs allow ODU students to take courses at participating institutions, and students of member universities may attend classes at ODU. Students should consult with their academic advisor for more information.
