Financial Aid

Over half the students attending ODU get financial help from one source or another, including federal and state grants, scholarships, educational loans, or through college work-study programs. All new and returning students need to complete the FAFSA every year. ODU federal school code is 003728.

The FAFSA application is available October 1st. It is highly encouraged to apply as early as possible to potentially quality for more aid.

• FAFSA Application Start October 1st
• SAP Appeal Process Submission Deadline for Fall - September 30
• New Priority Consideration Date January 1st
• SAP Appeal Process Submission Deadline for Spring - February 27
• Verification Document priority processing deadline June 1
