Helvraiga is the goddess of raw fury, as well as the oceans, and storms. She was born from the first primordial storm, the rain of which filled the oceans with water. The goddess values raw strength above all, be it physical might or willpower. She believes her main purpose is to improve mortal creatures through tests of fortitude - by sending natural disasters and great beasts upon them. Those who survive are sometimes rewarded with greater strength, environmental adaptations, or elemental powers. Helvraigas other duty is to protect the realm she resides in from otherworldly threats.
Helvraiga is a 7 ft tall muscular woman with blueish white skin, similar to the color of an iceberg. Lighting sparks through her silver hair. Teeth and bones hang from her braids. The goddesses fangs are elongated and shark like. Helvraiga wears burnished plate sky metal armor except for her right arm. It is covered in tattoos depicting some of her previous battles. Shards of sky metal are burnt into her skin on the bare arm and in a maw like crown around her face.
When Helvraiga was still in the process of establishing her identity she was rather boastful. A sky serpent named Ahyria, known as a hoarder of secrets said that for all her feats of strength, she probably couldn’t defeat even a measly bookworm like itself. Helvraiga asked it to back this claim up in action.
The two fought each other until all of Helvraigas weapons had broken themselves upon the serpents scales. With no other options visible to her. The goddess simply launched herself at the beast maw. She was swallowed whole- well, almost whole, as one of her eyes had been gouged out by Ahyrias teeth as Helvraiga flew past them. Instead of waiting to be chewed, she made her way deeper into the beasts gullet and into its stomach where she found shards of sky metal which the serpent was using as gastroliths. These, hardened yet further by the celestial monsters stomach fluids, proved enough to carve Ahyria from the inside.
Now into battle, and pretty much everywhere else as well, Helvraiga carries a three bladed axe forged from that very same sky metal. Her armor and and crown were made from the same material.
Where the axes blades meet the haft is inserted one of Helvraigas own eyes. The one which had been ripped from her skull by Ahyria - the goddess can stil see through it.
