Are your kids amazed by salamanders and other creatures they find outside? Why don't you join Adventures with Alyssa Rose for a Salamander Stroll at Bullis Park to learn more about the sneaky species of salamanders that live all around us. Start with a 0.5 mile hike through the forest talking about and looking for salamanders.
At the end of the hike participants will make their way back down the path by playing Migrate Like a Mole Salamander, a living board game adaptation of The Great Migration Challenge from Project Wild.
Finally, we will make a salamander themed craft or listen to a salamander story. Groups will depart from the back pavilion by the playground. Dates and times are listed below. Registration opens soon!
