My spelling is terrible. I guess that counts me out?
Not at all! Being a good speller is NOT required. While players are not allowed to bring their own word lists, we sell word lists at the fun-raiser for $10/list. For example:
Lists of 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-lettered words
Highest scoring words for scrabble
All words that contain Q and don’t contain U
Words without vowels
Scrabble Words with Z and X
Come join us! It's highly likely there will be others who struggle with spelling, too.
2. What are "green tiles" for in ScrabbleMANIA!?
Don't have the letter you want? Green tiles can take the place of any letter you need in order to complete words.
You may purchase extra Scrabble tiles for one round use. These tiles are green. The cost of the tile equals the point value on the tile. For example, an “A” is worth 1 point and is $1, while a “Q” is worth 10 points and is thus $10. You may purchase green tiles each round, but they must be returned after each round.
