You can apply through the forms listed above! We are very flexible with who gets accepted, and you don't need much community service experience!
If you want to volunteer for the Five Minute Friday program you must be either a middle school student or a high school student.
If you want to volunteer for Adopt A Senior you must be a high school student or older. We really appreciate adult volunteers for this program as they will be able to help seniors with their errands!
For Adopt A Senior: You are paired with local senior citizens who need assistance with basic tasks such as taking out the trash or getting groceries. You will communicate with you alloted senior and aid them with such tasks.
For Five Minute Friday: You are paired with a senior citizen and will talk to them each friday (or whichever day works for both for you) for about five minutes (or more)! You will converse with them on a weekly manner.
You will be able to give back to your community by aiding seniors, in addition this program will also allow you to earn service hours. We will verify your hours for you, but make sure to check you school's policy!
This is a sudent-led organization which strives to provide aid for senior citizens who have trouble in running errands, buying groceries, taking out their trash, etc.) This organization also strives to brighten up the lives of seniors who may not have close family or friends to talk to.
This is a student-run organization! Although we are not an officially registered nonprofit, we still function as one!
Yes! If your school needs a letter or verification of hours, we would be glad to verify them or write the letter! We have a form that you can use to log hours, and we will trust that your hours are accurate, but if the claim is unusual, we will email you with questions/concerns. However, if your school only takes service hours completed with registered nonprofits, we will not be able to help you. However, while we are not registered, we are a student-led organization that functions as a nonprofit, meaning that we do not make profit, and all donations go back toward our mission and foundation. Many schools will still take hours from this type of organization, but please check your school's policy!
