My brother and I are excited to announce the launch of Adolescent Capital, our newest endeavor dedicated to financial literacy, investing, economics, entrepreneurship, and the growing conversation surrounding wealth inequality.

Financial literacy is one of the most important skills a young person can develop, yet it is often overlooked in traditional education. Understanding how money works, how businesses grow, how markets function, and how wealth is created can empower individuals to make informed decisions throughout their lives.

The need for financial education has never been greater. Recent data show that the wealthiest 1% of Americans control approximately one third of the nation's wealth, while the top 10% control nearly 70% of all wealth in the United States. At the same time, millions of Americans struggle to build savings, invest, or access opportunities that can improve their financial futures. These realities raise important questions about economic mobility, opportunity, and the role that education can play in helping individuals achieve financial independence.

Adolescent Capital was created to provide a platform where students can explore these issues through thoughtful writing, research, and discussion. We believe that young people should not simply inherit the economic challenges of the future. They should actively participate in understanding and addressing them.

We are seeking submissions from students interested in business, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, and public policy.

Please share this opportunity with friends/classmates and let our voices be heard!

Possible topics include:

• Analyses of recent IPOs and publicly traded companies
• Stock research and investment theses
• Opinion and editorial pieces on economic issues
• Entrepreneurship stories and startup profiles
• Personal finance and financial literacy articles
• Discussions of wealth inequality and economic mobility
• Interviews with business leaders and innovators
• Short stories and creative works that explore economic themes (And, of course ART or PHOTOGRAPHY)

Get published and be recognized as a financial voice online. Outstanding submissions will be featured on Adolescent Capital and shared with a growing audience of students, educators, entrepreneurs, and investors. We are also working to develop partnerships with business and financial publications to help educate young people and amplify student perspectives on economics, investing, and entrepreneurship.

Most importantly, we want to hear your story. Have you started a business? Made your first investment? Learned valuable lessons about money, saving, or entrepreneurship? Conducted research on economics or public policy? We invite you to share your experiences and insights with a broader audience.

Please share your writing and tell your friends about our newest endeavor. By encouraging thoughtful conversations about business, economics, investing, and opportunity, we hope to help build a generation that is better prepared to navigate an increasingly complex financial world.

Visit www.adolescentcapital.com to explore articles, submit your work, and join the conversation. Together, we can foster financial literacy, encourage intellectual curiosity, and inspire the next generation of economic leaders.

Thanks,

AnnaBelle and Michael Deaner

Solitary acts of self-expression have become increasingly rare as social media use has grown at an exponential rate during the last decade. It is not uncommon to see a group of adolescents sitting together in a public place with each individual hovering over a technologically advanced device, scrolling through a morass of seemingly endless content.

Never has there been a more critical time for youth of all backgrounds and experiences to channel their innermost energy into artistic and written expression, espousing causes about which they feel impassioned. Adolescent Voices is born from a genuine desire to provide an opportunity for the world's youngest generation to craft prose/artwork about their lives, their struggles, and their triumphs during a watershed moment in history defined by a war in Ukraine, political divisiveness, climate change , and a movement towards the casual acceptance of disinformation. Passive acceptance of the status quo will not allow us to enact positive change,

Your story matters, your voice counts, and your inner poet/artist needs to be heard/seen. Become a leader at your school, in your community, and at your place of worship and let the resonance of your message reverberate through your powerful words and images!
