Rehearsal Info for Members

Rehearsals will take place on Tuesday evenings 6:00-6:50 pm in the Chapel Lounge at Christ Church. 

Off seasons rehearsals will be scheduled as agreed upon between the members.

Rehearsal Requirements:

Criteria for membership in Adk A Cappella dictates that you are willing and able to learn all of your music ON YOUR OWN.  You should come to each rehearsal prepared.  Do not expect to be taught pitches and rhythms at rehearsals.  This is your responsibility! 

1. Time Commitment: Please be on time and plan on staying for the entire rehearsal.

2. Practice your music in between scheduled rehearsals.  We will provide links (if available) to help with this.

5. Perfume, cologne, scented powder, etc. will bring on an asthma attack in a number of our members. Please do not wear any to rehearsals.

6. You will need to provide a small black 3 ring binder.

Attendance at all rehearsals is very important.   75% attendance is required for concert participation (which means 3-4 absences allowed per season).  Rehearsals are rarely cancelled unless there is an extreme weather situation.  If you miss more than the allotted number of absences, the director may choose to have you sing for them privately to make sure you are prepared for the concert. This rarely happens but it is a policy to be aware of.
