Adirondack A Cappella ~Kathleen McCarty, Director.
Adirondack Voices is the premier community chorus of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York and has recognized the desire for a smaller ensemble to “create community choral connections” by performing in venues where it is not feasible to use the large chorus or when the large chorus is not in session (such as community events, patriotic ceremonies, etc).
Our Adirondack A Cappella is an auditioned group of singers from the tri-county area. The ensemble is made up of no more than 21 members and the director is also considered a performing member. Adirondack A Cappella will perform in both Adirondack Voices December and May concerts as well as any requested community related events.
Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings at Christ Church United Methodist in Glens Falls 6:00-6:50 pm during the Adirondack Voices concert seasons.
Community Performances will not be booked without consulting with the group as we must have a balance of vocal parts in attendance.
Rehearsals will be scheduled as needed for performances outside of the concert seasons.

Am I struggling with breathing, breath control, dynamics, ???
Is my voice blending within my part and within the group?
