I am a graduate student at the Department of Mathematics, Temple University. Previously I was a Masters student in mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
My current interests are Geometry and Dynamics. On the geometry side, I work on Supermanifolds. This was motivated by my long-time fascination with String Theory — a field that actually generated this area of math when it introduced super lie algebras to model fermions and bosons. There are two approaches to supermathematics — differential geometric and algebro-geometric and I mainly work the latter angle.
On the dynamics side of things, I work on Surfaces with Affine Structure which play a significant role in Billiard Dynamics. My Master's thesis was on Dilation Surfaces, supervised by Chenxi Wu. Currently, I think about moduli spaces quite a bit and am trying to use AG techniques (like Hodge Theory) to solve problems in dynamics on moduli spaces.
Non-math subjects I previously meddled in — Astrophysics and Computational Chemistry (as an application of Statistical Physics).
When I'm not being a Math-head, I dabble in Cooking and Music.
