Thank you for using अदिरथ. This Privacy Policy explains how we (Sukham Jeevan Private Limited) collect, use, and protect user information when users use our mobile app: अदिरथ. In this page, the terms mobile app/ app/ अदिरथ are used interchangeably. These three terms mean the same.

• Information We Collect & why?

अदिरथ may collect the following types of information:

• Trip Data: We have integrated google maps to collect user-inputted destinations. For example, if a commuter wants to publish a ride when leaving from Bennett University (BU), the starting point is automatically placed as "BU": as a short form for "Bennett University". When the user clicks the destination field, an overlay dialog box opens, where the user enters the destination. The autofill then shows place recommendations and user can click on the desired exact location, and publishes the ride. Similarly, when a commuter is arriving at BU, the destination is automatically placed as "BU". The user then enters the starting point again using autofill and publishes the ride. Co-travelers/ commuters interested for ride share will look at the published rides and request seats in it. Hence, we facilitate manual ride-matching between users, currently.

• Location Information & Trip Coordination अदिरथ does not collect precise GPS location data or track users in the background. To facilitate carpooling, we collect User-Provided Location Information. This information is used solely to match people traveling on the same route.  

• Personal Information: 

  • • Sukham Jeevan Private Limited is the Data Fiduciary responsible for the processing of अदिरथ app users' personal data. 

    • User name, phone number, gender, job role, organization name: Collected (For profile) 

    • Password protection & Official email id: During registration, we do not ask a user to set their password. However, we do collect the user's official email id (like hosted on domain @bennett.edu.in). Not asking user password ensures data privacy and email validation happens on first login attempt. 

    • Official ID Verification: To ensure campus safety, we collect a photograph of user's official organization ID card. This is used solely by the Administrator to verify the affiliation with the organization (e.g., Bennett University) and is not shared with other users or third parties. Photo is uploaded to your secure Firebase storage. We aim to upgrade to video KYC method in future.

    • Push Notifications: We collect user's device's FCM token to send essential service updates, including ride request alerts, trip confirmations, and account verification status.

    • App usage data: If the app uses third-party services such as Google AdMob, those services may collect information used to identify the user.

    • App Interactions: Collected (Standard analytics).

  • Financial Information & Transaction Data: For users opting for premium memberships or food pre-ordering services, in the future we may collect transaction-related information. 

    • Purpose: To facilitate secure payments, manage monthly (or otherwise) memberships, and process "One Time Password (OTP)-verified" settlements for food vendors.

    • Data Handling: अदिरथ will process all payments through PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways.

    • Membership: This is intended in future, when the commuters can also pay for the monthly, quarterly, etc. memberships. 

    • Escrow & Settlement for food orders: When food vendors will be integrated in future, payments for food orders will be held securely and only released to the vendor upon successful OTP confirmation at the point of collection. For food vendors' payments, the process is expected to be: commuters pre-order when leaving from the starting point and make the payment in अदिरथ app. We hold off the payment. When the commuters cross the vendor location/ stall, One Time Password (OTP) matching leads to confirmation that commuters actually received the order. Commuters collect their order and leave. We credit payment into vendor account maximum by EoD same day. 

• Data Encryption

  • All personal data is encrypted in transit using modern cryptography (HTTPS). 

• Third-Party Services

  • Our app may use third-party services that may collect information used to identify the user.

  • These may include: 

    • Google Play Services

    • Google Firebase: For secure user authentication, real-time database storage, and cloud functions. The अदिरथ app utilizes Google Firebase services (including Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Functions) to process and store your data. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is handled in accordance with Google’s Privacy and Security standards.

  • The company does not sell user data to third parties.

  • Payment Processors: We will process all payments through PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways, which are secure, industry-standard payment gateways to handle financial transactions. These third parties have their own privacy policies and are responsible for the security of user's financial data during the checkout process. 

• How We Use Information

  • The information collected may be used to:

    • Improve app performance

    • Provide better user experience

    • Fix bugs and technical issues

• Data Security

  • We value users' trust in providing their information. We strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. 

  • However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

  • Data Deletion: Users can request account deletion at any time via the [Data Deletion & Privacy Controls page] or simply writing to us at: guptaprashant1986@gmail.com. We are also working on giving the app users the option of in-app method of requesting account deletion. • Children’s Privacy

  • Our app does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.

• Changes to This Privacy Policy

  • We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
