Adhesive & Equipment, Inc. (A&E) distributes a wide range of hot melt equipment, including Nordson® replacement parts. Our offerings include melters, pumps, applicators/handguns, hoses, modules, nozzles, O-rings, and filters — all aimed at increasing the quality, performance, and longevity of hot melt adhesive equipment.

Listed below are the Nordson® products available from A&E.

Melters — A&E stocks a variety of Nordson® hot glue melters and parts, including ProBlue 4, 7, and 10 varieties, Series 3000 and Series 300V units, and parts for the Nordson® 2300 Series. We also offer AltaBlue™ TT Model A4 Series melters, AltaBlue™ TT Model A10 Series melters, and AltaBlue™ TT Model A16 Series melters, as well as DuraBlue® and DuraBlue® L Series melters and various reconditioned systems.

5 Gallon Pail Melters — These melters feature reliable piston-pump adhesive dispensing technology, providing unmatched performance and streamlined operation.

55 Gallon Drum Melters — The Nordson® BM 20 Bulk Melter Series processes adhesives, sealants, and butyls from 20-liter or 5-gallon pails. New standard features allow for simplified daily operation and maintenance.

Pumps — A&E also carries a full line of Nordson® pumps and 14:1 pumps, including EEX Extruder Series gear pumps, LA 300 Series piston pumps, and rebuilt pumps. We offer a variety of piston pump parts as well.

Guns — We supply high-quality Nordson® automated glue guns and dispensing equipment used for hot melt adhesives. A&E can also custom-make guns for nearly any type of application.

Hoses — Rugged, durable hot melt and liquid adhesive hoses help reduce operating costs and downtime. Precision fabrication and calibration maximize glue hose service life.

Modules — These hot melt dispensing valves feature a compact, modular design and offer reliable, economical service. They are available for every type of pattern requirement. Specific applications include high-speed, noncontact extrusion, ribbon coating, fine-line gluing, and swirl-spray. Special and custom configurations also are available.

Nozzles — With precise bead placement, bead paths, and bead widths, Nordson® nozzles ensure superior performance in all types of applications. Efficient fluid flow and accurate adhesive placement ensure strong seals while eliminating pop-opens and adhesive waste. Available nozzle types include single orifice, single orifice right angle, dual orifice, double orifice, button, triple orifice, quad orifice, extended, short/long thread, screw-in, needle, domed circular pattern, and taper conversion heads.

O-Rings — These versatile Viton-replacement gaskets are used to seal connections in pipes and tubes. We stock virtually all types and sizes of hot-melt-specific O-rings.

Filters — Adhesive filters can help with day-to-day operations or routine maintenance, and prevent system clogging caused by unwanted materials.

Replacement Parts — A&E offers a complete line of spare parts and accessories. These accessory kits can be used to customize hot melt equipment and systems, or may be used for maintenance and repair services. Parts in stock include heaters, resistance temperature detector (RTD) sensors, thermostats, cordsets, fittings, and ceramic wire connectors.

Common Applications for Nordson® Hot Melt Equipment

Nordson® products are used in a variety of industrial applications — dispensing, coating, laminating, bonding, sealing, extruding, lubricating, and testing, to name just a few. Nordson® dispensing and curing systems are often used to coat, assemble, treat, and cure metal food and beverage cans and containers. Lubrication pumps, fluid regulators, droplet dispensing guns, and syringe barrels provide consistently accurate deposits regardless of fluid pressure.

For medical applications, Nordson® aseptic valves help keep medical-grade lubricants sterile and safe. Nordson® MATRIX equipment is used for testing on manual X-ray inspection equipment, and Nordson® YESTECH allows for reliable, efficient automated optical inspection (AOI).
