Academic & Internship
Although my academic background does not directly relate to the tasks I perform during my internship, there are some valuable skills that I have acquired. These skills can be applied not only to my current coursework but also to the classes I will be taking next semester. Specifically, my proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, developed during my internship, has proven to be useful in my Mechanics lab projects at school. In addition, searching for grammatical errors in job descriptions has enhanced my writing abilities and expanded my vocabulary, which has benefited me in class and while writing essays for scholarships. Moreover, working in a job role that requires thorough inspection has helped me to improve my attention to detail, a vital skill for a computer science student who codes.Â
