Teaching

My aim as an educator is to foster an effective and inclusive learning environment, where students from all backgrounds can acquire critical thinking skills and learn to engage with scientific writing. Through the use of empirically supported learning strategies, my goal is to teach my students how to learn effectively so they can be successful in and out of the classroom.

University classrooms serve as a space for individuals from diverse backgrounds to learn, share, and grow. In my courses, I always strive to create an inclusive place for each student in my class to contribute their own experiences.
