Originally from Colorado, I received my B.S. in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience from Colorado State University and completed my M.S. and Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Texas Christian University working with Dr. Uma Tauber. My research interests include student learning and self-regulated learning, with a focus on improving STEM and category learning outcomes for students. By understanding students perceptions and decisions regarding studying, my goal is to encourage students to become more effective learners both in and out of the classroom.
