In the heart of downtown Abbotsford lies this paradise of green that grows local produce for sale. Community events, workshops, and gardening classes are also held here.

The meal centre
Located at The Salvation Army's Centre of Hope, the Meal Centre welcomes those who are homeless, hungry, isolated, cannot afford food, or all of the above. The kitchen is staffed with professional cooks and volunteers. The centre provides 300 healthy meals per day, 7 days a week. Special meals are hosted on holidays such as Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving.
Also a part of The Salvation Army's Centre of Hope, the Redemption Cafe welcomes those who need a listening ear and serves free breakfasts and snacks. For those living outdoors, the cafe has laundry and showers. Mental health counsellors are available from 9am-12pm on Mondays, an income assistance worker is available on Thursdays, and case planners, nurses, and practicum students are available to chat. Daily programming includes foot care, social outings, arts and crafts and bingo.
