In this project, we used Diagrams.net to make a mind map, which is an example of using an information hierarchy through brainstorming to achieve a goal. The goal required at least 4 child-nodes, and at least 3 actionable items to achieve the goal. My goal is to get a successful career in acting. I personally did a little more than the minimum requirement because I am scared for my future, though I still could have gone deeper!
I didn't learn much from doing the project besides navigating the Diagrams website, though what I did find helpful was learning about exporting images and figuring out how to do that on my laptop. I didn't get to explore that until after I made the mind map (which was most likely the point). It gave me the chance to learn the difference between a working and deliverable file, and how to change a working file into a deliverable file by exporting it! I also realized I use working files all the time when drawing on Fire Alpaca, in which I save the files as PNGs when I am ready to present it to other people, hence the file being deliverable.
