Rules and Guidelines

For time consideration:

• Only ONE Act per student if there are 30 or more Acts signed up for the Talent Show. 

• If less than 30 Acts sign up, students have the option to perform in multiple Acts, for example; a group Act and a Solo Act, 2 Solo Acts, or 2 Group Acts

• If 30 or more Acts sign up, then you can do a solo and a group act but not two solo Acts. This means NO student will participate in 2 Solo Acts. 

• Students who signed up to be in more then one Act will be notified if we reach 30 Acts. The student will then have to choose which Act they want to perform in. 

• Exception: 5th grade students participating in the 5th Grade Opening Act can also participate in a solo and a group act regardless of how many Acts sign up.

• Maximum time for Solo acts is up to 3 minutes. (the 3 minute time requirement will be enforced if we have more then 30 Acts signed up).

• Maximum time for Group acts is up to 5 minutes. (the 5 minute time requirement will be enforced).

For Auditions: 

• Make sure you have a copy of your music and/or video file. Options for submission:

  • You can bring a USB flash drive to auditions (No CD’s).

  • Email the file on March 1st or before so we have it set for your audition.

  • Or you can email & submit your files via google drive.

  • You can also use a free service like WeTransfer to send files up to 2GB.

  • Files should be submitted to addamsgottalent@gmail.com

• Music and video files must be edited ahead of time to meet the 3 minute time requirement for solo acts and 5 minute requirement for group acts  (less is fine). We do not edit!

• For all submissions via email please follow these instructions:

  • In the subject line, please type "Video or music for "Performers Name". 

  • If group Act, please supply only one name (first & last) for the group.

  • Music Files: Submit in an MP3 format.

  • Video Files: Submit in an MP4 or MOV format. 

Final video and music files for the show are due by 

April 1st, 2023.
