Since 2016, CDIA has been supporting Tbilisi in the conduct two pre-feasibility studies that would help the City of Tbilisi, Georgia achieve a more sustainable urban mobility. This video documents the concrete steps taken by Tbilisi to enhance its public transport for the benefit of its 1.1 million population.
Six years after supporting the city develop its urban transport strategy and pre-feasibility study in 2011, CDIA went back to monitor and document the progress of its urban transportation program, with focus on the upgrade of its TransJogja bus system. Beyond the growth in numbers, the video documentation has captured the impact of Yogyakarta’s enhanced urban transportation through the lens of its beneficiaries - as they now experience improved safety and convenience in their daily journeys.
In 2009, CDIA, with the Yangzhou Construction Bureau, developed pre-feasibility studies for the following projects: old town urban upgrading and cultural preservation, San Wan Wetland Park to upgrade the city’s ancient canal system, and completion of the water treatment plant. This video captures how Yangzhou has implemented the first two projects, and how CDIA’s recommendations have been reflected in these projects.
In 2013, Tangerang City applied for support from CDIA to conduct a pre-feasibility study (PFS) towards a more sustainable and integrated solid waste management system. Three years after, CDIA captured in this video the transformation of Tangerang City - from being one of the dirtiest cities in Indonesia in 2006, into winning the Clean and Green (Adipura Kencana) Awards several times in recent years.
This video documentary tells the story of the 24x7 water supply project in Pimpri, India as implemented by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). The project originated from the assistance of CDIA in 2012 for a pre-feasibility study (PFS), with funding assistance from KfW.
The video shows the results of CDIA's support for Naga City, Philippines through the conduct of two Pre-Feasibility Studies for the Integrated Naga River Revitalization Project in 2012.
In Nepal, the Spain-supported Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project has helped put thousands of children back to schools, returned vital government services and infrastructure to earthquake-affected communities, and created jobs and income through employment in rebuilding critical road networks.
