The Spain-supported Nam Ngum River Basin Development Sector Project in Lao PDR not only improved water resource management in the Nam Ngum River Basin, but also helped farmers like Bounmy Phommalin gain knowledge about supply and demand, enabling them to produce things that the local market wanted to buy.
