Offered to individuals of all ages and abilities

A variety of summer sports and recreation programs are offered around southern Vermont including:

Offered to youth and adults with disabilities at the Upper Valley Aquatics Center in White River Junction, VT.
Provides acclimation to the aquatic environment, stroke work, and competition swimming
Apply for scholarship ($25 application fee) for 5 lessons.
Skiing
Offered to youth and adults with disabilities at Mount Snow in West Dover, VT
Lessons run from late December - March
Scholarship options available
Special Olympics Vermont provides year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Equipment, lessons, and tickets are free of charge
Reservations are required 48 hours in advance for independent athletes and 14 days for anyone requiring assistance

Therapeutic Horsemanship
Therapeutic riding facility providing therapeutic horsemanship lessons for special needs children and adults in Belmont, VT.
Offers both mounted and unmounted lessons
Offers both group and individual lessons, each lasting an hour

Zach's Place is a safe, free, weekday setting where individuals of all ages with special needs are free to explore art, cultural, fitness, and educational programs while developing friendships.
