We are pleased to announce that the International Active Matter Workshop 2025 will be held on January 23 and 24, 2026.
There are three invited lectures. In addition, there is an opportunity for participants to give contributed oral presentations and poster presentations on all fields of active matter.
The workshop is planned to be held in an on-site format at Meiji University (Nakano campus).
The deadline for the abstract submission for contributed oral and poster presentations is Dec. 19 (Fri), 2025.
The deadline for registration for participants without presentation is Jan. 12 (Mon), 2026.

The program will be posted here. The workshop starts in the morning of 23 Jan, 2026, and ends in the afternoon of 24 Jan, 2026.
We accept abstracts for contributed oral presentations (approx. 20 min each).
If you wish to give a contributed oral presentation, first finish the registration by 2025/12/19 (Fri) from the registration, during which you are asked to upload the PDF abstract file of your presentation. Note the size of the file should be less than 1 MB.
Please find the template below and prepare a pdf file with your name in the file name as "abstract_LastName_FirstName.pdf".
If the number of submissions exceeds the number of slots for contributed oral presentations, the speakers will be selected based on the abstracts. The submissions not selected as contributed oral presentations will be considered as contributed poster presentations.
We accept abstracts for contributed poster presentations.
If you wish to give a contributed poster presentation, finish the registration by 2025/12/19 (Fri) from the registration, during which you are asked to upload the PDF abstract file of your presentation. Note the size of the file should be less than 1 MB.

If the number of submissions exceeds the number of slots for contributed poster presentations, the presentors will be selected based on the abstracts.
1. The size of the poster board is 960 mm in width and 1800 mm in hight.
2. The recommended size of your poster is ISO A0 (841 mm × 1189 mm).
To attend the workshop, registration is required also for participants without presentation.
To attend the workshop with a presentation, please finish the registration and abstract submission by 2025/12/19 (Fri) for both oral and poster presentation (See above).
