Action Research is conducted in many educational, healthcare, social science, and community studies.

Conventional

The conventional way of conducting Action Research is limiting and restrictive. Researchers cannot "quickly" conduct, e.g. a Likert scale analysis. Many studies are too simplistic, e.g. based on post-treatment test alone, or limited to percentage analyses. This is partly due to the need for the researcher to learn much time-consuming complex software. This discourages researchers from trying to conduct any research.
