The Freda Bennett Carnival is a held at Lyneham Hockey Centre, ACT in February each year
The Freda Bennett Carnival is a fantastic opportunity for players, umpires and those keen to be involved in Masters Hockey to spend a weekend playing hockey together.
This event relies on volunteers – if you are interested in umpiring or helping over the weekend please email actwomensmasters@gmail.com
The Freda Bennett Carnival is run as a round-robin with 4 divisions, depending on numbers will be run over 3 days, from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon.
We encourage any O34+ and O40s interested playing at the National Tournament to play Div 1.
Players are to be registered and play with only 1 team.
(DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION)
Suggested for players to register with their local club first.
Firstly Players will need to register with ACT Women's Masters Membership ($0) and if they haven't pald their 2026 HA levy ($70+), using the button below. It will show $0 plus the HA Levy, if you have already paid HA levy, when you go to the next window it will deduct the levy leaving $0. If you played NSW Indoor or your club fees you may have paid your HA Levy. If you haven't paid your HA Levy it is $70+, we suggest you register, if you can, with your club first.
We do not charge a levy to be a part of ACT Women's masters, but we do require you to have paid your HA Levy.
All players need to register and pay through the Player Registration link above ($60 including admin fee).
Note, there has been no increase in fees this year, but revsport have changed the way they take fees out..
Games will be 2 x 15 min halves. Whole draw at bottom of this page when it has been confirmed.
The 2 fields at Lyneham will be used, games will start at 8.15 Friday morning.
Some games will be at Tuggeranong on Saturday.
